Deep Space Directive combines tower defense and real-time strategy mechanics in a base-building game about expanding, exploring, building, upgrading, and of course, defending. Your directive is to expand outward, building a vast economic network at any cost.

Each new world will need a base and defenses to produce the resources needed for further expansion. The surrounding terrain will be shaped by your choices as well as the invading forces. Develop world after world to unlock new technologies and abilities.

A constant stream of energy and resources is needed to keep your defenses functioning and your colonists fed. Collect, refine, and process resources. Energy and ore are needed for buildings and colonists need water and food. As your population grows you can support more and more buildings.

You were sent to build mines and factories, but when you landed you discovered it wasn't that easy. How will you defend your base? Powerful stationary towers or mobile but weaker units? Either way, make sure your energy supplies are topped off before night falls or risk destruction.
